Safeguard's Video Verification service provides actual video clips of recorded alarm activity for our Monitoring Center and Central Station Operators to verify when an actual intrusion is taking place. Upon verifying that an intrusion is in process; we are able to share this information with the responding police departments. This can not only help create a faster response times to actual break-ins, but a greater opportunity to apprehend these criminals.
Video clips are recorded via portable, motion activated cameras with integrated night vision capabilities. When these cameras detect motion, a 10 second clip is recorded and delivered to our Central Station Operators to review and make a determination on how to proceed. Combining video clips with a reported incident also allows us to cut down on potential false alarms.
